Golf fitness magazine is sole content creator dedicated to the sport of golf by focusing on the body & mind as the primary means to lowering handicaps, reducing injuries, and ultimately enjoying the game for a lifetime. We have become the worldwide leaders, both in print and online, on topics related to functional golf fitness, golf mental self help, golf health, and general wellness. With an approach of building an expert Advisory Team and staff of contributing writers, we have gained credibility within the golf industry and with the community of millions of golfers.
From a survey conducted in January of 2009, we clearly identified with a large universe of golfers who understand that golf fitness is the singularly most important approach to improving their game and who put a priority on staying healthy to participate in their passion more often.
Letter From The Publisher
For centuries the game of golf has been considered a game in which the royal, the elite, and the privileged participated in a leisure fashion (or they thought so). Then came advances in golf course design and golf equipment, which increased the demands for more skill. But is wasn’t until this past decade in which Tiger Woods’ influence and domination, forced a real and permanent change in the way professionals train and the way the golfing public will learn, practice and play for evermore.
As we witness Tiger’s inspiration and combine it with today’s popular trends in functional fitness, better health and longevity, we are well into an evolutionary transformation in the way the game or sport of golf is perceived and understood. Fortunately a paradigm shift has already taken place and golfers, with their large incidence of injury, and scoring handicaps that haven’t improved in 30 years, understand more now than ever that golf fitness is the key, and the answer to their woes for improving the athleticism required for golf and therefore their game and health. The good news is that golf fitness is no gimmick! It can be very simple and even low intensity by choice, but when properly understood and implemented it will have dramatic effects in golfers ability to play better and most importantly, reduce injuries so the sport can be enjoyed for a lifetime.

Our readers will gain insight with mental tips and techniques that are readily understood and easily implemented in a ‘how to’ approach of eliminating golf mental mistakes and improving mental performance in general.
